We have 2 Make It University Workshops, so I hope all interested in making and taking home a IQF mosaic memento will join us.
This week I was fortunate enough to have a test run for the upcoming Make It University, Long Beach. It was a really fun class. We went with one theme and a size 
smaller than we will with the MIU class, to ease me into the process. But I was thrilled with how different and individual everyone’s piece became. Nancy Smith of Great American Quilt Factory hosted
and supplied us with the workspace; here she is on the upper right accenting the trim in purple. See how varied the projects are? So I believe I’m ready for the fun and frivolity that comes to those who dare to create. I hope to see you there.
Excitement aplenty; I’m almost giddy. Make It University, by Quilting Arts, has updated their web-site and it is looking pretty. It is still two weeks before the deadline for proposals, but parental unit and I are having fun auditioning fabrics and papers for the backgrounds of the plaques. By Monday, we intend to have finished samples to post. They look so naked, almost vulnerable right now.
