Trick or treaters
A collaborative project with Parental unit and myself, together we made this Trick or Treat Trio with tortured Tyvek.
It is the second fall submission project for classes at GAQF here in CO. Here is a close up, hopefully you will see the detailed texture in the Tyvek elements of the trick or treaters.
Venus in Tyvek
This little quiltie has different Tyvek elements: the Venus rectangle is Tyvek painted with Golden acrylics and stamped with Stazon black ink. The Venus stamp is from StampCamp. Then the rectangle was aged with an iron on low heat.

What will you discover?
Discover what there is to discover.
Terri Stegmiller made me this beautiful art quilt. Together with Sue Bleiweiss they put out an amazing on-line publication Fibre and Stitch. I urge you to check it out. It has a bonanza amount of information in each issue.

Stick around
Stick challenge: Our Great American Quilt Factory embellishment group has a current challenge of “sticks”. Originally I began painting canvases for a book format, then the Big Art Adventure had the matchbook challenge, which sent me in a match-stick direction. Voila, my art quilt with matchsticks.
Terry’s finished sticks are cleverly displayed on a store bought [...]
Sam Adams Mini quilt
After five wonderful courses of food, accompanied by 5 varieties of Samuel Adams beer, I made my self an adorable little rememberance. Sam Adams bottle caps on hand painted fabrics, tied up with ribbon.

On the right, is the entire piece. Click on photo [...]
Betsy’s art quilt
Betsy’s challenge piece is featured for the start of the 3 day weekend. It has a joy of the outdoors, and it shows a unleashed joy of creating. Looking closely at this small quilt makes me want to go home and play with everything in reach. Betsy’s used stamped, printed, dyed, and painted tissue and [...]
mini quilt with buttons
A finished project! a fun little reminder we should all heed: the crown reads, I am gorgeous, with hints to imagine and giggle. Make appropriate combinations of all three to your own liking and moods. love (and donuts).
Block Head
Sheesh, these girls are in such a hurry to get to Chicago, they haven’t sewn on my face yet. Kinda scary cause the cats can abscond with my eyeballs! At least they gave me lush grass to await their administrations. But they’re giving me a posse this weekend. Lovely girls, grrrrrrr
