Tortured face in tyvek
Piecing together odds and end of tortured tyvek, this face emerged. Except for the button eyes, it is all tyvek. I haven’t a clue what I will do with it, but I wanted to sew down the face before it was scattered about by little cat paws.

Before and after kiln view July 2008
Glaze load going in kiln at the studio a couple days ago. We like to get a before and after when ever we can remember. After about 30 hours the kiln is cool enough to open.

Nature is calling, are you listening?
Go outside and breathe. There are still fragrances to enchant. There is the breeze to blow out cobwebs.
Feel the waxy grass as you scrunch your toes. Feel the vitamin D burn into your pasty skin.
Remember that nature was here before housing and windows and air conditioning.

Leap! Kickin’ it to California. We decided out of the blue to commit to vending at IQF in Long Beach, July, 2008. Since Chicago’s IQF, we’ve been sluggish and morose, (apologies to anyone reading my posts, it might have been obvious how blah I’ve been) now we’re hyped and creating anew. WhahHoo!

Sheesh, these girls are in such a hurry to get to Chicago, they haven’t sewn on my face yet. Kinda scary cause the cats can abscond with my eyeballs! At least they gave me lush grass to await their administrations. But they’re giving me a posse this weekend. Lovely girls, grrrrrrr
