Alex Anderson 1st in booth
An honor: personable and talented Alex Anderson was the first customer in our booth in Chicago on preview night. Here she is with my mama-san, (TT is on the left). To add to her glowing and generous personality, Alex has the most beautiful complexion I have ever seen. I am so jealous. See Alex at: [...]
Block Head
Sheesh, these girls are in such a hurry to get to Chicago, they haven’t sewn on my face yet. Kinda scary cause the cats can abscond with my eyeballs! At least they gave me lush grass to await their administrations. But they’re giving me a posse this weekend. Lovely girls, grrrrrrr
Kiln opening April 1st
Caffeine, cowboys, saints, bingo, loteria cards, and assorted craziness coming out of the kiln. How do you dream?
Dreams are like children, they need to be released to be able to mature. But how do we dream? We dream asleep of course, and when bored with mundane tasks, but also with intent when we dare to create. In fact I believe we could substitute “dream” with “what if…”. What if I used green [...]

Series 18
Here are a small sampling of finished collage cards of the glazed buttons seen in the kiln opening post of March 17. I finally ventured into black glaze and love the shiny little nuggets of handmade goodness. I also forced myself to do a bunch of neutrals and loved the fat happy elephant in this [...]
