Wine dinner

Our sommelier

Our sommelier

Mia and Rygel (formerly known as No-name) delighted in an evening of Bacchanalia. Hosted by Maggiano’s Little Italy and the gracious Antinori Winery, the siblings joined the family in the joyous pairing of excellent food and wine.

To witness the entire debauchery, click on the photo of Mia playing sommelier, or click on the Sib’s Sunday tab at the top of the page.

Last minute helpers

In 14 days,we leave for Houston’s IQF. Without a mouth, No-name speaks volumes. Apparently he believes we need a final push of product. He is being very sweet and helpful. Mia is trying. But she is easily distracted.

Although I wanted to carve pumpkins with them today, I was reminded of the ‘incident’ with the exacto knife, and No-name is strongly hinting of western themed embellishments. I find him so adorable, I don’t want to disappoint him.

Unsocialized Siblings

Warning: Do not leave unsocialized sibling alone.

Recent photos of Mia and No-name playing plastic surgery have come to our attention. We kindly ask for respect while we work through therapy with our recent additions to our family. It is our sincere desire, upon the return of their sisters, brothers and cousins, that they will learn healthy entertainment activities.

The large brood looks to be having healthy social interactions in Michigan, and perhaps jealousy has reared it’s ugly head in recent events here in Colorado.

Farmers’ market

Farmers market

Mia and no-name went to the farmers’ market to scope out pumpkins. I explained about Jack-o-lanterns and they were excited by the idea. Halloween is around the corner. Click on the photo to see a few more pictures of their outing.

Meet the newest Sibling

Hiding in the Stockpile

Hiding in the Stockpile

We had a lovely play date, Mia, Terry and I, at our favorite local fabric store, Great American Quilt Factory. Cruising the store before the playing upstairs began, I noticed this cute little creature. He was sly, following us around, but Mia pointed out he was lonely, and suggested he join us. Click on the the photo to see all the newest pictures.

For new readers, Sunday belongs to the Siblings. Technically, the larger humans of this family are not supposed to be working, so the children have begun to fill in. However, the group of crazy makers are off in Michigan, visiting their Auntie Lynn, and soon to be strutting about at the Michigan Sewing Expo.

Mischief Makers to Michigan

The mischief makers are leaving me to travel to Michigan - alone. I’m so excited for them; they’ll meet new creature friends and see more human creatures. What if I get lonely without them? What will I do? What will become of Sib’s Sunday?

I was able to snap some photos in the warehouse to show their enthusiasm for the trip.

Little Helpers

Tommy volunteered to be the contractor on my deck replacement project and recruited his cousin Lovey (in stripes) for the labor. It was a disaster. Tommy found he could remove nails without damaging his teeth. Lovey found that the composite deck boards are heavier than they look. Clumsy Lovey fell through the framing and barely held on by a screw! And Tommy bid adieu to the fun of the day with a Dracula impression.

What nuts; they accomplished nothing on the deck re-do! Guess Bubba and I have to take the project back. To see their glorious insanity better, click on the first photo and view a self guided slide show with your cursor in the upper right corner. There you will find the hidden NEXT button. love (and recycled plastic - Trex) michele
